Umbra Noctis was born from a simple dissatisfaction: gothic and alternative jewelry and the watches that belong in the same world were either cheap and disposable, or priced as though darkness were a luxury tax. We thought that was wrong.
So we built something different. A brand that treats craftsmanship seriously and pricing honestly. Every piece in the Umbra Noctis collection is designed to be worn, noticed, and kept — not cycled out after a season.
We make gothic watches by hand, to order.
Our watches are not pulled from a warehouse shelf. When you place an order, production begins. Each piece moves through a hands-on process that takes four to eight weeks — because the details that matter, the weight of a case, the finish on a dial, the way sapphire crystal catches low light, cannot be rushed.
Every watch ships with scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, Japanese quartz movement, stainless steel construction, and 5 ATM water resistance. Not as exceptions. As standards.
The natural result of handwork is variation. No two pieces leave our workshop identical. That is not a flaw — it is the point.

The rings, necklaces, bracelets, and earrings in the Umbra Noctis collection are made from 925 sterling silver and 316L stainless steel. They are water resistant, skin-friendly, and designed to hold their finish under real-world wear.
Gothic jewelry has a reputation for looking impressive in photographs and falling apart in practice. We have no interest in that reputation. Every piece we make carries a lifetime warranty — because if it leaves our hands, we stand behind it without an expiry date.
The aesthetics draw from gothic architecture, dark symbolism, and the kind of imagery that has always sat at the edge of mainstream taste: cathedral arches, memento mori, skeletal forms, flames, thorns. These are not trends. They are a visual language with centuries behind it, and we treat them as such.
On price.
We believe the gothic and alternative community deserves access to quality that doesn't require apology. Our prices reflect material costs, handwork, and honest margins — not inflated brand premiums. When something is €49.95, it is €49.95 because that is what it costs to make it properly, not because we rounded down from something much higher.

We answer every question. We are based in Europe, and we ship internationally. If something arrives damaged, if you have a sizing question, if you want to know what's currently in production — contact us. We are not a faceless operation and we do not hide behind automated responses.
